Will I make it?
How long can we wait before our dreams can be reach by our fingertips? This is such a perplexing and thought provoking question that prompts a deep reflection on our patience asn how long can we really wait. Ever since I can remember, I am a woman who was sculpted to always think practically–dream practically, this was embroided to my mind for a particular reason: the world does not bend for wishful thinking, it bends for those who carve their visions into reality. It is the art of turning fire into fuel, not smoke.
Life has taught me that ambition is not just about dreaming, but about turning those dreams into reality. My ambition is to become a doctor, specifically an OB-GYN, because I want to dedicate my life to saving babies and protecting mothers. This dream was born from a very personal experience—my mother once shared with me that she had a miscarriage, and later I saw a video of a dying newborn baby. Those moments awakened in me a deep desire to make sure no mother or child under my care would ever suffer such pain.
Becoming a doctor is not an easy path. It requires years of study, discipline, and sacrifice. But I believe that my resilience and determination will guide me through the challenges. I know that the journey will test my patience and strength, yet I am prepared to face it because my purpose is clear. I want to use my knowledge and skills to bring hope and healing to families, and to prove that ambition, when fueled by passion, can change lives.
Aside from my professional dream, I also want to feel the world and explore its wonders. Traveling to different countries and visiting the Seven Wonders of the World is part of my ambition too. For me, this is not just about leisure—it is about learning from diverse cultures, appreciating the beauty of creation, and gaining wisdom from experiences beyond my own community. These journeys will inspire me to become a more compassionate doctor, someone who understands people from all walks of life.
And if one is to ask me a question, "Will I make it?" Definately, I will try my very best. Because ambition is not about waiting for the world to bend—it is about bending myself toward the world, carving visions into reality, and turning fire into fuel. I am a woman of power, passion, and purpose. And with conviction, I will not only reach my ambition—I will live it fully, saving lives and embracing the wonders of the world.
